{"id":660,"date":"2020-10-08T14:11:56","date_gmt":"2020-10-08T14:11:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/niklas-nienass.eu\/en\/?p=660"},"modified":"2020-10-29T14:13:36","modified_gmt":"2020-10-29T14:13:36","slug":"update-on-the-cultural-creators-friendship-group-ccfg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/niklas-nienass.eu\/en\/update-on-the-cultural-creators-friendship-group-ccfg\/","title":{"rendered":"Update on the Cultural Creators Friendship Group (CCFG)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I would like to give you a brief update on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.culturalcreators.eu\/#The_CCFG\">&#8220;Cultural Creators Friendship Group&#8221; (CCFG)<\/a>, a group of currently <a href=\"http:\/\/www.culturalcreators.eu\/#CCFG_Members\">20 MEPs from 6 political groups<\/a> dedicated to support the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS).<\/p>\n<p>Today was an eventful day \u2013 the CCFG released an <a href=\"http:\/\/openletter-article18.culturalcreators.eu\/\">Open Letter demanding effective implementation of article 18 of the Copyright Directive<\/a>, and after many internal meetings, we finally adopted our <a href=\"http:\/\/workingplan.culturalcreators.eu\/\">CCFG Working Plan<\/a> which describes and specifies the main areas of work as defined in our <a href=\"http:\/\/manifesto.culturalcreators.eu\/\">CCFG Manifesto<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But this is just the beginning. Having had its first informal meeting back in January, by now the CCFG has established itself, and therefore we&#8217;re ready to reach out to CCS organisations\/stakeholders. For November the CCFG will schedule a first online meeting to which we will also invite external guests.
